Happy weekend I earned 2 points for desserts tonight and a Friday night out 😝 cause my new personal trainer put extra 16kg on me while pushing up. 🥵 motherhood can be fun, workout can be fun with a untrained personal trainer.

Black Forest Cake 黑森林蛋糕/ the cake I made second time let’s see if I get request to make again next year 🤭 less sugar as usual and no alcohol for the 👦

For the topping I use fresh cherries and berries. For the filling I use the canned dark cherries (so it pitted more convenient, but if u want to sub with fresh cherry 🍒sure. make sure it’s pitted)

Tips: prep the cake base and chocolate strips 1 day ahead and store them in fridge wrapped with clingy film

Making the chocolate strips will required quite some works, you can always use ready chocolate sprinkles as a substitute

Chocolate Genoise sponge cake 巧克力海绵蛋糕/ if I don’t post today I think i will never do it 😂 made this last year for big boss birthday 🎂 didn’t have time to proper film it and this year I made the same cake 😋 cause it unbeatable 😜

U will see bits of flour at the end of the “scenes” in the cake. Cause I made 3rd time to take a nicer picture but I was too lazy to sieve the flour 😂 lesson : always sieve ur flour 🤭

Ending my August starting September with a diving course + trip in Tioman 🏝️ @maoridive diving centre
