Homemade condensed milk may have a slightly different taste and consistency compared to store-bought versions, but it works well as a substitute in most recipes. Adjust the sweetness and flavor by adding more or less sugar and vanilla extract according to your taste preferences.

 40 g unsalted butter
 125 g water
 180 g raw cane sugar
 110 g milk powder
 1 pinch salt

Place butter and water into mixing bowl, heat 3 min | Varoma | Speed 2.

Add raw cane sugar, milk powder and salt, blend 30 sec | Speed 10 until smooth. Scrape down sides and bottom of mixing bowl with spatula. Transfer into sterilised sealable jars and set aside, uncovered, to cool (approx. 30 minutes). Seal jars and store in refrigerator until ready to use (You can store this condensed milk in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.).
