Homemade Playdough
Homemade playdough is a soft, pliable modeling compound that is often made using simple kitchen ingredients. It's a popular DIY project for families and educators because it's safe, inexpensive, and customizable.
Combine water, cream of tartar, and salt in the Thermomix. Set to Kettle mode | 80°C.
Add plain flour and mix for 40 sec | Speed 3 or until thoroughly combined.
Incorporate cooking oil and set to kneading mode, knead for Dough | 2 min
For coloring, use a separate bowl to knead in food coloring. It's advised to wear disposable gloves to avoid stained hands. Kneading in the Thermomix may lead to quick drying.
Once the desired color consistency is achieved, wrap the dough in baking paper and store in a zip lock bag.
