The cooking time and temperature will be defined by Thermomix®. The rice is cooked in a precise and gentle way so that you can rely on a good result every time. The TM6 Rice Cooker mode also cooks other grains, apart from rice, such as millet or bulgur wheat.
Place the simmering basket into the mixing bowl and weigh the rice into it. Lift up the simmering basket and rinse the rice under running water to ensure it is clean. Insert the simmering basket back into the mixing bowl and add water up to the same level as the rice. Set 18 min | 100ºC | speed 3.5 to cook.
Remove simmering basket with aid of a spatula, transfer the rice into a thermal serving bowl and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
