This tasty noodles is so easy and I make them a LOT! It is the asian version of bolognese, and it is seriously delicious! Every time I make this, my little one will eat double portion!

INGREDIENTS AND SUBSTITUTES

ingredient quantities please refer to the recipes card (Click here!)

  • mincemeat – This recipes use ground pork, you can use any ground meat.
  • soy sauce – If you are cooking for baby / toddler, you may use coconut aminos as a substitute for soy sauce in recipes.
  • salt – you may skip this if you are cooking for baby / toddler
  • noodles – Any type of noodles can be used

RECIPES TIPS

  • It will be best to remove the skin from tomato. Removing the skin from tomatoes will allow the flavors to really penetrate the tomato a little more. The skin can often have a tougher texture so it can make the sauce or dish have a different overall texture rather than something really smooth.

Taiwanese Noodles with Tomato Meat Sauce

Mincemeat Sauce
 30 g garlic
 200 g mincemeat
 10 g corn starch
 30 g light soy sauce
 15 g dark soy sauce
 15 g oyster sauce
 15 g tomato paste / ketchup
 100 g water
 1 pinch salt
 5 g sugar
 1 pinch white peppers
 120 g tomato, peeled and cubes
 10 g spring onion
Noodles
 1000 g water
 200 g noodles

Mincemeat Sauce

Place garlic and oil in mixing bowl then chop 5 sec | Speed 5. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula then sauté 3 min | 120°C | Speed 1.

Add mincemeat and sauté 7 min | 120°C | ⤺ Speed 1. Meanwhile, mix the cornstarch, soy sauces, oyster sauce, tomato paste, water, salt, sugar and white peppers and set aside.

Add tomato cubes and reserved sauce mixtures then cook 5 min | Varoma | ⤺ Speed 1 without the measuring cup. Transfer to serving bowl and set aside.

Noodle

Place 1000g water into mixing bowl, then use Kettle Mode | 100ºC or 8 min | 100°C | speed 1 to boil the water.

Add noodles and cook time indicated on packet | 100°C | ⤺ speed spoon. Using simmering basket, drain noodles over a bowl.

Add reserved mincemeat sauce over the noodles. Garnish with spring onion. Toss to combine just before serving.
