MADE AHEAD INSTRUCTIONS

Marinating your chicken ahead of time is a great way to save time and ensure that your oil-free honey chicken wings are flavorful and tender. Place the chicken wings and the marinate sauce into a seal bag or container and mix them well, refrigerate for up to 1 days or freeze up to 1 month. Simply thaw it in refrigerator the night before cooking.

STORAGE & REHEATING

What do you do with leftovers? Here are some tips to help you store your leftover wings properly:

  • Let the chicken wings cool to room temperature. If you store them while they’re still hot, it can create condensation, which can lead to bacteria growth.
  • Place the wings in an airtight container or zip-top bag. This will help keep the wings fresh and prevent them from drying out.
  • Label the container or bag with the date so you can keep track of how long they’ve been stored. It’s important to use them within a certain amount of time to ensure they’re still safe to eat.
  • Store the chicken wings in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. If you won’t be eating them within that time frame, it’s best to freeze them instead.
  • If you want to store the chicken wings for longer, place them in the freezer instead. Freezing the wings will help extend their shelf life.
  • To freeze the wings, place them in an airtight container or freezer-safe bag and label with the date.
  • Store the wings in the freezer for up to 2-3 months. Be sure to use them within that time frame to ensure they’re still safe to eat.
  • When you’re ready to reheat the wings, you can either thaw them in the refrigerator overnight or reheat them straight from frozen in the oven. To reheat, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they’re heated all the way through.

By following these simple steps, you can store your leftover oil-free honey chicken wings safely and ensure they’re just as delicious when you’re ready to eat them.
